In a unexpected crossover event that breaks traditional expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal release, "A strange meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The narrative presents a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a hidden sect.
The mission centers on "bizarre trials and a monstrous adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser concludes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
